MY FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE ANGER

More than 3 million people play FPL. Many people have more than 1 team and many see FPL as fun. For a super competitive guy like me who hates loosing, i take FPL as serious business.

About 5 weeks ago, i was one of the lucky ones who captained Aguero in his 25 point haul! unfortunately and true to his character, he got injured during the international break and was out for 7 man city matches. Fast forward 4 weeks and with Bony injured, and Aguero back, many people were ready to rip their squads up to accommodate by far the most expensive and explosive player in FPL. I hesitated, for many reasons

i. During his absence, Lukaku and Kane had become red hot premier forward options and having missed on them for 4 consecutive game weeks (while having Pelle and Bony), i was determined to get one of them at least while Aguero was gradually easing into action.

ii. I had made too many rash decisions. i bought the then on form Pelle as a replacement for him (while lukaku was prepping into good fixtures) and then after my enabler (ighalo) blanked in one game, i left my proven striker and without enough planning, i jumped on bony bandwagon so i wanted to be careful with my next moves.

Saturday comes and Aguero burns me! hitting a superb shot beyond Mignolet while his replacement picked up a fifth yellow of the season. I couldn't bear it anymore. With Pelle set to miss the next match and with Aguero back among the goals, price changes were sure to happen that night and i couldn't loose out!

I panicked (mistake), abandoned my planning (another mistake) and ripped my team with a -8 just to get Aguero in. Worse part was that the -8 wasn't to take away an nonperforming player but to create cash for him. I sold Begovic who had just kept a cleanie and had a good run of fixtures for the cheaper hennesey and bought Ake for Francis in a very sideways move.

Fast forward the week and my anger was complete! Aguero lasted just beyond the 60 minute mark before picking up an injury to give me 2 points, hennesey conceded early on to give another 2 while my dear nathan ake brought in a lovely 0 point. It was the definition of disaster. kane; the option i should have gone with had i followed my analysis blanked for the first time in 4 weeks but i wouldn't have had to do a -8 as i had enough funds for his transfer and i wouldn't have sold begovic.

Well, a new week and i don't plan to loose this week as i'm lagging behind in my colleagues private league after a 5th loss in 6 game weeks. I've already sold Sanchez for Ozil as his injury doesn't look good and i've gained from Ozil's price rise already. That is my 3rd teammate transfer after selling depay for mata and silva for KDB. 

This coming week is supposed to be successful and a little part of me wants to play bench boost but that uncertainty still holds me back. Well, getting a new goalie for mccarthy might make me just launch the bench boost.
