Good evening and welcome to a new series I decided to work out on. Choosing a team for a game week can be hard. Sentiments and personal preferences can cloud ones judgement. There have been many FPL sites that try to predict the team for the week but there is usually a large discrepancy. My plan in doing this article is to compare human analysis (totw from experts on different sites) to AI analysis (totw from bots on different sites).   Now these sites are expected to churn out different teams every week irrespective of transfer limitations. The difference is that the experts bring their teams based on strict FPL formation and price while the bots simply bring out the best set of players from their algorithm projections. For this study, I'll be using 5 sites. 3 have bots (fantasy football fix, first and assist) while 2 are human experts (fantasy football scout and geek). Now the hard part of picking a nice 15 man squad begins. for those who haven't played the game before, give it a try at  fantasy premier league  and you will be in for a super exciting premier league season. For the newbies, you have to pick a squad of 15 players where 11 will start and 4 including a goalie will be on the bench. How to pick your squad With £100 available, you have to be very careful as you will have only one   free   transfer per week once the season starts. The Attackers These are an interesting bunch because unlike the defenders, team coverage might not actually be enough and the prices are spread over a wide range. Also it is most likely that your captains will be coming from here. If you have spent about £10 for your goalies and £25 for your defence (generally accepted limit) then you will be left with £65 to get 8 attackers (midfielders and forwards)

After our discussion on Goalie and defender selection strategies, its time to look at the rotation analysis. GOALKEEPERS 1. 2 way fixture rotators. Like I specified, there are two ways to look at this. Selecting strictly based on home/away fixtures (this reduces selection headaches) or choosing “easier” fixtues. Home/Away rotators are easier to find as they are designed by the premier league for policing or tv reasons. Remember we are focusing on rotations with no goalie costing more than £5.0 so you won’t be seeing the popular Manutd/Mancity or Arsenal/totenham rotation. There are some things quite unbeleivable in this world, the stuff of dreams. Many of these things exist in football. I remember Frank Lampard in 2010 saying that he wanted to win the premier league before retiring I laughed long and hard because with the trajectory that chelsea were headed, they werent close to winning it. They had just been knocked out by inter  milan and didnt look like european superpowers. Fast forward 2 years and in 2012 against all expectations, chelsea beat overwhelming favourites Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena to win.

Throughout this post i,m going to try my best not to insult Arsene Wenger...so help me GOD.  But i just can't believe how a coach will be so adamant to changes, so blinded to team sheet and have absolutely no response to opposition changes! I,m currently watching Arsenals game with sunderland and i just look at Wenger and his expression looks so van gaal like - short of ideas or motivation, just looking to his players to manufacture something from the game. I have long being an Arsenal sympathizer, their style of play as always is pleasing to the eye but season after season, lack of determination, fight or motivation lets the team down  and down again! I could not help laughing when the team news started rolling out for week 35. Getting 11 players out for the gameweek was already hard, many managers (myself included) took point hits to complete our squads. Mine was worse, i had to sell Joe hart (wrong decision i know) to accommodate kane though in hindsight i think i should have sold coutinho for milner instead to create the funds. Main team..undone by coaches I have two FPL teams, (main and differential) and my differential team was a disaster!! i sold janmaat for dawson in gw34 and forgot to use my bench boost so that transfer wasted while this week i went loftus-cheek and pelle in for Lennon and martial. both replacents were on form (cheek had likely shooting stats as kdb) and were playing winnable matches.

Yeah, its being a long time from FPL stories but one thing fantasy league's will not forget in a hurry is the woe we suffered in the hands of Everton's "top" marksman. disappointing trollkaku Ahead of the flurry of doubles towards the end of the season, there was a lot of planning, quite a lot and as usual in my competitiveness, i took my time to meticulously plan it all - figuring wildcard plans, transfers, chips to be used from game week 33 to game week 37, it was all going perfectly until i bought LOLkaku and the team went bleak...yes, i sold top scorer Harry Kane for 4 games in 2 weeks TROLLkaku  and to add to it, I and many people who "planned" and prepared "better" than the casuals.
