PREPARING FOR THE DOUBLE GAMEWEEKS WITH WILDCARD IN MIND
With the announcement of the rescheduled games for gameweeks
36 and 37 and the earlier announcement for dgw34, many managers have gone full ANALYSIS on getting the best way to
maximize the dgws by stocking up on the best players for the next 3 weeks then wildcarding in gw36 to prepare for the last 2 dgw..
From experience and study, the best plan is to divide the
remaining 6 gameweeks into 2 boxes for managers with wildcard. It’s my advice
(and popular choice) to wildcard in gw36 to enjoy the second dgw(36) and plan
to bring in max players for dgw37. With benchboost or not, this is a superb
plan as you can take advantage of the short term fixtures.
This analysis will take two forms: FIXTURE ANALYSIS (where I look at the fixtures of all teams for the
next 3 weeks and PREDICTED POINTS
SCORERS (where I use the 3 most popular bot site to get the projected best
players for the next 3 weeks)
Finally, I’ll be giving a differential article where we look
at players with ownership of less than 10% that are alternatives that can boost
you in rankings.
fixture dificulty rankings next 3 gameweeks |
NOTE: FIXTURE DIFFICULTY IS THE TOTAL
OF THE FDR RATINGS FOR NEXT 3 GAMES
|
NOTE 2: THE FDR FOR THE DGW TEAMS WAS
DIVIDED INTO TWO FOR GW34
|
NOTE 3: THE RANK FOR
3 WEEKS IS GOTTEN BY:
- 1. FIXTURE DIFFICULTY TOTAL (NEXT 3 GAMES)
- 2. NO OF HOME GAMES
- 3. FIXTURE DIFFICULTY OF NEXT GAME
By virtue of 2 home games in the next 3 and a total FDR of
5, STOKE CITY are a team to take
short term punts on especially in defence where they have been superb at home
with only with only man utd, spurs, everton and Chelsea having better records. Favourite
picks are GRANT(4.4), PIETERS(4.6) while
ARNAUTOVIC is a differential pick
for your midfields.
LIVERPOOL are up
next with two away games putting them behind stoke. With mane out, cheap
forward ORIGI(6.2) has been a
popular pick as he battles Sturridge for a spot together with COUTINHO(8.5) whose form and ownership
is on the rise. OOP midfielder FIRMNO(8.6)
is the differential here.
Sam Allardici (As he says he would have had more respect if
it were his name) has once again taken a relegation threatened outfit to safety
with 5 wins and 4 clean sheets in 6. Wins over arsenal and Chelsea at the
bridge and a dgw 34 to boot boost both attack and defense prospects. With or
without cleansheets, HENNESSEY(4.3) is
sure to rack up many save points in the next 4 matches while BPS magnet SAKHO(4.6) would have been included but
he will be out of the Liverpool game as he is a loanee. Further forward, ZAHA(5.9) has upped his output with 2
goals and 3 assists in last 4 and is an easy route into squads looking for
downgrades to afford the big forwards. BENTEKE(7.6)
is worth a pick as only lukaku and Aguero have had more shots than the big
forward though it has to be noted that he MAY
not be on pens as milivojevic took
the last one. TOWNSEND(5.8) with 2 goals and 2 assists in 4 is the differential
pick.
Sunderland are so devoid of form that my only pick here will
be PICKFORD(4.1) for his price and
save points (he is second to heaton). For those who still have faith and have
held on for so long, you may hold on some more to DEFOE(7.6).
When unbelievable form meets fixtures, you give birth to
spurs. Racking goals and clean sheets with 2 home fixtures in the next 3, they
provide options from front to back. Before his injury, KANE(11.3) was top of the form rankings and has a 6.75 home ppg
ahead of a fixture against Bournemouth. ALLI(9.2)
has 12 goals in last 14 games while ERIKSEN(8.8)
sits top of the FPL assist rankings. SON(7.1)
with 3 goals and 2 assists in last 3 games is the differential pick here. In
defence, DAVIES(4.9) has been the
revelation since replacing rose with most points than any defender within the
time frame. The fact that rose wont be back within the next two weeks boost his
appeal likewise him being the cheapest member of the defense.
With Antonio out for the season and andy carroll still not
fully fit, we go to LANZINI(6.4) for
our westham man though one home game in 3 betrays his potential as he has had
his hauls at home but with both players out, he will be the go to man and will
take most set pieces.
Finally, man utd with their dgw34. As expected IBRAHIMOVIC(11.4) is the main protagonist.
Involved in 48% of the teams total goals and is a top captaincy option for both
dgw34 and gw35. DE GEA(5.4) is the
only certainty in defence as mourinho has made romero his Europa goal keeper. With
fosu Mensah able to deputise in defence, none of the centre backs are safe
neither are the full backs. LINGAARD is
the differential pick here as he seems to have sealed a starting spot and is a
cheap way into a good team.
projected best performing players next 3 gameweeks |
Corresponding with the fixtures, DE GEA and LLORIS feature
highly in our predicted teams for the next 3 weeks, dgw keepers VALDES and HENNESSEY also have a chance though with burnley up next, ROBLES is an outside pick for the week.
As highlighted earlier, ALLI
and ZAHA are top picks for the
midfield while we are also backed for picking ERIKSEN, FIRMINO and COUTINHO. SANCHEZ is one of the most popular
sales but the bots advice caution as arsenal are 8th on the rankings
and sanchez is very explosive. Chelsea may not feature high on the FDR but with
the title looking to be wrapped ASAP, HAZARD
will be pumped no doubt.
Unsurprisingly, IBRAHIMOVIC
is the top pick over the next 3 weeks. A fixture against Chelsea might
deter buyers this week but he is a top captain contender for the other 2 weeks
and should not be ignored. Back from injury KANE is second in the transferred in list and is justified while LUKAKUs home form keeps him ticking
over the next few weeks. BENTEKE is
an outside choice.
