REVIEWING THE BOTS VS EXPERTS ARTICLE GW34
Good day and welcome to the
review of our bots vs experts’ article.
These review(s) will help us determine if the bots options are
preferable to the experts or if human judgement trumps their call. It will also
help us keep track of the performance of these sites over the course of the
season.
FFFIRST had returns for 2/3 of their goalkeeper picks, 3/5 of their
defence picks, 3/7 of their midfield picks and 2/5 of their forward picks with
a captain success giving an average 10/20 or 50% correlation rate.
FFFIX came in with 2/3 on the goal keepers, 4/5 on defenders, 3/7
on midfielders and 2/5 on forwards to give a marginally better 11/20 or 55%
correlation rate.
OVERLORD picked 2/3 on keepers, 4/5 on defenders, 1/7 on
midfielders and 3/5 on forwards at 10/20 or 50% correlation.
FFASSIST had a 2/3 on goalkeepers, 4/5 on defenders, 1/5 on
midfielders and 1/3 on forwards to join in with 8/16 or 50% correlation.
Mixing the trio, the modal BOTS TEAM gave a 2/3 on goal keepers, 4/5
on defenders, 2/7 on midfielders and a 2/5 on forwards to give the highest score
of 10/20 or 50% correlation.
With like for like selections by
the bots, only FFFIX got passed an
average 50% score.
For the experts, TheFpl had 1/1 for goalie, 2/3 in
defense, 0/4 in midfield, and 1/3 in attack for a poor 4/11 or 36% correlation.
The OFFICIALFPL scouts had 0/1 in goal, 3/3 in defense, 2/4 from
midfielders and 2/3 from forwards for a 7/11 or 63% pass.
FFSCOUT turned in 0/1 with their goalkeeper slot, 3/3 with their
defence slot, 2/4 with the midfield slot and 1/3 with the forwards giving an
above average 6/11 or 54% correlation rate.
Finally, the ACADEMY had 1/1 in goal, 2/2 in defense, 2/5 in midfield and 2/3 in
attack for 7/11 or 63% success. Remember that they gave us an AOA team this
week.
The modal EXPERTS TEAM had 0/1 in goal, 3/3 for defenders, ¼ in midfield and
2/3 in attack for 6/11 or 54% correlation.
The FINAL TEAM had a 0/1 on goalkeeper, 3/3 in defence, 1/4 in midfield
and 2/3 with the forward picks to give 6/11 or 54% correlation.
From the data, the experts were
the winners this week though both were poor with most midfield picks not
performing.
The final team had a gameweek score of 82 which is 26 points
more than the average score after a captain success with BENTEKE.
