FPL ATTACK DILEMA

Back?? or a flash??

Another weekend, another FPL headache. This time the attack problem starts from LUKAKU vs KANE. Both players are proven goal scorers and are most likely competing for a place in our attack. Its a really hard pick. LUKAKU has done OK given the tough fixtures he has faced but its worth noting that he blanked vs mancity, arsenal, manutd, swansea and liverpool which means he can rarely be trusted. KANE on the other hand has had mixed fixtures but has unfortunately scored in 2 games only which were won by huge margins but one was against mancity so he isnt really a big game choker as weve seen from lukaku.


But then Lukaku is cheaper and has better fixtures and as we see, he thrives against lower opposition and will come against quite a number of them compared to kane. The advantage goes to kane though when you think about form. He has had good shooting stats (4th among forwards) compared tp lukaku (11th) amd hia points per minutes is definitely set to improve while lukakus own has been alike compared to last season.

So it is basically form(KANE) vs fixtures(LUKAKU) but personally my choice will depend on if i have barkley or erikson or another support cast.

Second war is southampton vs mancity and PELLE vs BONY Like kane, pelle has excellent shooting and creating stats while bony looks more of the guy there to crownthe teans glory with goals. Both are mid priced and have a good run but bony as we all know us a rotation risk. his brace vs bournemouth brought him into reckoning and accidentally pelle now faces the team that has brought the goods for bony and kane in consecutive weeks. i think the goods are still on offer and pelle would love to buy.

Another trashing at the weekend means we cant just ignore city and their striker but when youre playing the norwich that granted wijnaldum his 4 goals, then you have to really consider their assests.

My dilema isnt who to play...naaa, its who to captain. With both drawing blanks at the weekend and scoring in midweek. Well my instinct just pushed me towards pelle..i cant miss on another bournemouth mauling.
