Fantasy Premier League is back, yeahhh!!! Oh, wait, I’m more than 8 days late but I’m sure you haven’t fixed your teams. Those many drafts keep you frustrated as they are either lacking the coverage you need or the big players you want. I’m not here to ease your stress, at least not yet. I just want to take a first look at the players on offer and look at the popular options in each price bracket. GOALKEEPERS There are 4 prices of goal keepers in the game. This makes the position the easiest to pick in this article. The 4 prices are divided into Premiums (5.0, 5.5) and Budget (4.0, 4.5). There are strategies that support use of each category of goalies but like I said, I’ll be picking the most popular (highest by team selected by) which gives us David De Gea (5.5)-26.1% and Ben Foster(4.5)-20.6%. Both start the season with nice fixtures and although it may not be the best double pick considering cost, they are the two most selected goalies.

With the announcement of the rescheduled games for gameweeks 36 and 37 and the earlier announcement for dgw34, many managers have gone full ANALYSIS on getting the best way to maximize the dgws by stocking up on the best players for the next 3 weeks then wildcarding in gw36 to prepare for the last 2 dgw.. From experience and study, the best plan is to divide the remaining 6 gameweeks into 2 boxes for managers with wildcard. It’s my advice (and popular choice) to wildcard in gw36 to enjoy the second dgw(36) and plan to bring in max players for dgw37. With benchboost or not, this is a superb plan as you can take advantage of the short term fixtures. Alli’s 49,244 new owners have put him at the top of the list. Form and fixture combine to justify this decision as alli seems unstoppable and sunderland look like willing opponents. FFFIRST had returns for 2/3 of their goalkeeper picks, 4/5 of their defence picks, 5/7 of their midfield picks and 3/5 of their forward picks giving a 14/20 or 70% correlation rate.
